A young Laois couple are set to appear on our TV screens tonight in the latest episode of a popular RTE show.
Super Garden, which airs on RTE One tonight, will feature the home of Ronan and Claire O’Gorman.
The Portlaoise duo will hand their family garden over to horticulture 25-year-old student Patrik Weisser, originally from the Czech Republic, who will aim to transform it.
The garden was badly damaged by Storm Ophelia.
Ronan and Claire, who live in Aughnaharna in Portlaoise, are very well known in Laois.
Ronan is a plumber and the son of the recently retired postman Leo O’Gorman.
While Claire is the daughter of Eamon Alo Donegan who owns a well-established electronics store on Main Street.
The three judges will then cast their eye over what Patrik Weisser comes up with.
FormSuper Garden winner Brian Burke, Bord Bia’s Gary Graham and design lecturer Monica Alvarez are the judges this year.
Super Garden airs at 8.30pm on RTE One tonight, Thursday May 16.
