Some of Ireland’s most breathtaking beauty lies at the heart of county Laois, and now you can experience it with the fabulous Laois Camino taking place this Saturday, April 27.
Explore woodlands, bog, plains and mountains as this well-known walking festival undergoes a new route this year.
This year’s Laois Camino will have two options to suit all abilities along the glorious stretch from Luggacurran to Fisherstown.
Option A includes the 25km distance along with a map, wristband, water, fruit, hot refreshments at Ballykilcavan farm and brewery, a hot meal upon completion of the route and live traditional music at the Fisherman’s Inn that evening.
You enjoy enjoy all this in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for €37.
Option B for this Laois Camino event is the 25 km walking route from Luggacurran to Fisherstown with the shuttle bus, wristband, map, water, fruit, toilet break and hot refreshments at Ballykilcavan Brewery. These tickets cost €22.50.
Registration is from 8am in Fisherstown. Walkers leave at different times, wave one leaves Fisherstown at 9AM, wave two at 9.45am and wave three at 10.30am.
