Tom died at his son’s residence in Birmingham, England. Deeply regretted by his son Peter, daughter Julie, brother Paddy, sisters Judy, Mary and Angela, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
His remains will be reposing at his residence at Church St., Ballinakill from 3pm on Friday. Rosary at 7pm on Friday evening and Removal at 7.45 to St Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill for 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am followed by burial in St Brigid’s Cemetery.
Maureen Murphy (née Lawler)
Glencullen, Dublin / Carlow Town, Carlow / Graiguecullen, Laois
Maureen Murphy (née Lawler) of Glencullen, Co. Dublin and formerly of Brown Street, Carlow, England and Graiguecullen, passed away peacefully on Easter Monday, 22nd April, 2019, in her 97th year, in the excellent care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, beloved wife of the late Patrick; much loved and deeply missed by her daughter Pauline, son-in-law Brian and her extended family and friends.
Sincere thanks to Noeleen and Tom Cahill and their dedicated staff for their exceptional care of Maureen during her stay in Atlanta House Nursing Home.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday evening, 24th April, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 25th April at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Glencullen followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Carlow at 1.00pm approx.
Carmel Smyth (née Marum)

Smyth (nee Marum) Carmel, Cois na Habhainn, Green Mill Lane, Portlaoise. Died 23rd April 2019, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Eamon. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Ann and Sharon, sons Liamie, Johnny and James, sisters Christina and Philomena, brothers John and Martin, sons in law, daughters in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-granchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence on Wedneday from 5pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise, for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Louise (Lucy) Hilliard Graigueafulla, Clonaslee and formerly Shangan Green, Santry Avenue, Dublin, died April 22nd 2019, at The Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving parents Harry and Kathleen and her brothers and sisters Jimmy, John, Samantha, Rohan, Canice, Harriet, William and Henry, uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10am with removal at 11.15am to St Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Funeral after to Newlands Cross Crematorium. arriving at 3:30pm. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to I.C.U. Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Reposing in the Chapel Of Adoration, adjoining The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, from 7pm. on Tuesday with Rosary at 9pm. Removal to The Church Of The Most Rosary, Abbeyleix, for 11am Requiem Mass on Wednesday. Burial afterwards is St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Raheen, Laois.
Joe Rigney
Leamonaghan, Ballycumber, Offaly / Mountmellick, Laois
Joe died on April 21st 2019, peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He is a native of Leamonaghan, Ballycumber and is predeceased by his beloved parents Tom and Mary Rigney. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving brother Liam, sisters Mary Dunne, Beeney Bell and Carmel Walsh, sister-in-law Marie, brothers-in-law Eddie and Bob, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, staff and residents of St. Josephs and Summerhill House, Portlaoise.
Reposing at The Granary beside St. Manchan’s Church, Boher, Ballycumber on Tuesday evening (April 23rd.) from 6pm until Removal at 7.30pm to the adjoining Church. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (April 24th.) at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Funeral prayers at 6.30pm Monday evening followed by removal to Holy Trinity Church Durrow arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11.00am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
