A Portlaoise business is looking to fill the following role:
Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant in Portlaoise – Part Time/Flexible Hours
We are recruiting for a part time bookkeeper/administration assistant to work in a local family business.
Working hours are approx 16 hours per week and can be flexible around other commitments/school runs etc.
The role will include:
Book-keeping
- Posting of purchase invoices and bank transactions
- Reconciliation of daily cash drops
- Reconciling of credit card transactions
- Managing petty cash
- Reviewing purchase prices for fluctuations
- Assisting with Payroll
- Populate weekly summary reports
Administration
- Checking that daily/weekly operational/production checklists are being completed by the relevant staff and file them correctly
- Liaising with HR Consultant around new contracts/contract adjustments for employees
- Managing job applications & arranging interviews when recruiting
- Other general administration duties as required
Experience:
- Min. 2 years experience in previous accounts/bookkeeping role
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong numerical and IT Skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
