After two months of training, the Arles-Kilcruise Couch to 5k programme will conclude this weekend.
The final race will take place in the club grounds on Sunday March 31 at 2pm.
The cost of entry is €15 adults and €10 for U-16s while there are family discounts available too.
There will be cash and spot prizes for seniors and juniors while novelty races for primary school children will also take place.
“The big thing is to get people up and active in a social environment,” Arles Kilcruise treasurer Francis Egan told LaoisToday.
“We have had an experienced strength and conditioning coach in to coordinate the training sessions and he has made sure that everyone is working at their own level.
“With the weather forecast looking good for Sunday, we are hoping to see a big turnout on Sunday.”
