The next stage in the M7 works being completed saw it being widened as of Monday, March 25.
The next section of M7 Westbound traffic moved onto the new carriageway surface from 6am on Monday morning.
Traffic lanes have been split on the Westbound M7 carriageway approaching Junction 10 (Naas South) for roughly 2.5km. This goes through to the interchange to after Junction 10.
Motorists are being advised that although both lanes are for the M7/M8/M9; those exiting at Junction 10 (Naas South) should take the left hand lane only.
This will help in the completion of the new middle lane in this section. Following these works, two lanes over this section will run on the new surface.
A minimum of two lanes will be maintained during peak hours of 6am to 10pm at all times.
Once traffic has been moved across, works will continue to the adjacent verge/hard shoulder areas.
