Brought to you in association with Joe Mallon Motors, Portlaoise
One of the last parades to take to the streets of Laois, the parish of Rosenallis didn’t disappoint in their efforts this St Patrick’s Day.
Patrons lined either side of the street as the parade, led by St Patrick himself, came down the village.
The crowds were treated to a procession of acts and floats throughout the parade.
St Joseph’s marching band from Portlaoise provided the rhythm for the parade, as did local man Martin Kelly.
Children were a central part of this year’s parade, each and every one of them representing their community with pride.
Among the groups involved in the parade included; Childhood Memories preschool, Rosenallis GAA, Lawless Academy of Irish Dancing and many more.
