Breda died in the loving care of the Management and Staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her brothers Fr Noel Hanrahan MHM and Michael, sister Joan O’Halloran, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Brookhaven Nursing Home from 5pm on Sunday evening with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.20am to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
The Very Rev’d William Beare
Bandon, Cork / Lismore, Waterford / Stradbally, Laois
Beare (Bandon, Cork, Lismore and Stradbally) on March 15th 2019, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Cork University Hospital. The Very Rev’d William (Billy), beloved husband of the late Rose Alice (Hurley), and dear father of Walter and Rachel.
Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Bob and George, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, fellow clergy, former Parishioners, his music students, relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service on Monday morning at 11am in St. Peter’s Church Bandon, funeral afterwards to Kilbeg Cemetery.
Patsy Doogue
(Garrons), Stradbally, Laois
Patrick (Patsy) Doogue, Garrons, Stradbally passed away peacefully on 14th March at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Sadly missed by his brother Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Sunday, 17th March, from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally at 12 noon on Monday, 18th March, followed by burial in Oakvale Cemetery.
Muriel Percy (née Dagg)
Kyledellig, Ballacolla, Laois
Percy, Muriel Olive (née Dagg), Kyledellig and Ballacolla, Co. Laois. Peacefully on March 13th 2019 at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. In her 101st year. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Percy and beloved sister of the late May, Grace and twin sister Thelma and brother Melvin. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’ Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney Co. Laois on Friday, March 15th, from 2pm to 8pm with service at the funeral home on Saturday, March 16th, at 2pm followed by burial in Killermogh Graveyard.

Laois): On March 12th 2019, peacefully after an illness bravely borne with great courage and dignity, in the presence of his loving family and in the dedicated care of the staff of Bantry General Hospital. BILLY (retired An Garda Síochána) loving husband of Teresa (née Hazel), dear father of Stephen, Hazel and William, beloved son of the late Stephen and Mary, brother of Annette, Shirley and Deirdre, son-in-law of Marcella, brother-in-law of Margaret, Ann, Buddy, Paschal, Ger and the late Jim and William. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Dan, daughter-in-law Mary Ellen, his adored grandchildren Liam, Emily, Sarah and Daniel, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours, colleagues and friends.
Reposing in Ballydehob Community Hall, Store Road, Ballydehob on (Thursday) March 14th from 5pm followed by prayers at 8pm. Reposing in St Finbarr’s Church, Chapel Street, Bantry on (Friday) March 15th from 11am followed by Requiem Mass at 12noon. Funeral after to the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Cancer Connect, Main Street, Bantry or the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry or West Cork Palliative Care, c/o Bantry General Hospital.
