Portlaoise College are hosting a Lip Sync Battle which will take place this Friday, February 8.
The event is being held to raise funds to build a brand new all weather pitch on their premises.
The show will be held in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise.
Doors open on the night at 7pm and the show will begin at 8pm.
Tickets for the show will cost €20 and can be purchased from the school, All Books, Lyster Square, Portlaoise and on the door on the night.
There are only 100 tickets remaining for the show.
Ten acts will perform on the night and they range from parents, students and people from outside the school.
The MC on the night is comedian Kenny Davy. While the judges on the night will be LaoisToday’s Alan Hartnett, singer Damien Bowe and the school’s vice-principal Patricia Cullen.
The parents council have organised a huge amount of fantastic spot prizes for a blind raffle to be won on the night.
All are welcome to attend the show for what is sure to be a night of great entertainment.
