Great news for all those who didn’t manage to get their hands on an Electric Picnic ticket this year.
Tour de Picnic is back and could give you the chance to get your hands on a ticket while cycling for a worthy cause.
Now in its 11th year, the annual charity event involves cycling 80 km or running 17 km and being awarded their weekend festival ticket at the finish line.
Participants can sign up with a €60 deposit, which secures their place on the cycle/run as well as their festival ticket, provided their meet the fundraising target.
Sign ups need to raise a minimum of €395 for charity, or €350 for students, with deposit being counted towards their ultimate fundraising goal.
The ISPCC, Headway and the Jack and Jill Foundation were last year’s chosen charities.
2019’s chosen charities will be announced early this year.
The royal treatment includes the fully supported 80km cycle or the 17km run, official Tour de Picnic jersey, snacks, water, packed lunch, burger and beer on arrival, baggage transfer, return bus ticket, return bike transfer, and of course a ticket to Electric Picnic 2019.
