We’ve had a wide range of guests in with us for our Christmas Video Interview Series and it concludes this evening with a piece with Anna May and Anna Marie McHugh from the National Ploughing Association.
They reflect on the 2018 Ploughing – one that saw the weather lead to the cancellation of Day 2, the addition of a Day 4 at short notice and how that all played out over a couple of intense days in Screggan in Offaly.
The mother and daughter combo reflect on how the Ploughing became such a huge event and where it can possibly grow.
Anna May also tells how she has been approached by various politcial parties but explains why a life in politics certainly wasn’t for her.
