Peacefully after a short illness at the Beacon Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, son Kevin, daughter Ann and mother Anne. Sadly missed by her loving sons Ger, Brian and Colm, daughters-in-law Carmel, Annemarie, Bernie and Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, wonderful neighbours, carers and friends. Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Saturday from 3pm with Removal at 4:50pm arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington at 5:30pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:15pm. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.
Catherine Brennan-Sothern (née Brennan)
49 Feltham Hall, Blackbog Road, Carlow Town, Carlow/Crettyard, Laois
Catherine Brennan Sothern, (nee Brennan) of 49 Feltham Hall, Blackbog Road, Carlow and formerly of Crettyard, Co. Laois, passed away unexpectedly, at her home on December 19th, 2018.
Beloved mother of Keith and Laura and adored grandmother of Bryan.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, mother Margaret (Peggy), grandchild, daughters-in-law Helen and Zarah, brother John, sister Mary, brother-in-law Eugene, former husband Harry, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home, 49 Feltham Hall, Balckbog Road, Carlow (Eircode R93 K0E4) from 3pm to 6pm on Friday. A private Service will take place on Saturday in Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin.

Maureen died at The Regional Hospital, Portlaois. Deeply regretted by her loving son Eamon and daughter Anne-Marie, sisters Rita and Bridie, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence from 7pm on Thursday with Rosary at 8.30. Removal on Friday evening at 7.30 to St. Lazarian’s Church, Knock arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am followed by interment in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Ballinakill, Laois.

Josephine (Dody) Dineen (Nee Walsh) Riverside Cottage, Main Street, Stradbally, Co Laois. Unexpectedly in the loving care of the staff of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Beloved wife of the late Finbarr. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Mairead, Joanne and Gearoidin, son Barra, daughter-in-law Della, sons-in-law, sister Patricia, brother-in-law Ken, nieces, nephews and her friend Robert, grandchildren, Cara, Oisin, Cathal and Sadhbh. Her great grandchildren Keelin and Aoibheann. Extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at her residence at Aughamaddock, Stradbally from 7pm this Thursday evening and all day on Friday with Recital of The Rosary both nights at 8pm. Removal from her residence at Auughamaddock at 11.15am on Saturday morning to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by Interment in Oakvale Cemetery.

Laois – 19th December 2018 peacefully in the loving care of all at Sonas Glendale Nursing Home, Tullow; Beloved wife of the late Edward; Sadly missed by her loving daughter Emily, sons Seamus, Eamon, P.J., Thomas and Daniel, brother Jack, sister-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
