A planned power outage is causing water supply disruptions to homes and businesses across Portlaoise and surrounding areas.
Works are taking place from 9am until 4pm today, Tuesday December 18.
However Irish Water has recommended that people allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.

Also as part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme, valve replacement works may cause supply disruptions to Market Square and surrounding areas in Portlaoise.
Work began from 10pm on December 17 until 11am on December 18.
Supply may take 2-3 hours to fully return to all affected properties.
