Brigid Delaney, Killeen, Mountmellick, Co Laois, died 15th December 2018, (peacefully) at home, surrounded by her family. Much loved daughter of Frank and Agnes and sister of Eamonn, John, Frank, Mona and Terry. Brigid will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken parents, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Monday evening from 5pm, with recital of the rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Paul’s Church, Emo, burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Emo.
Carmel Bracken
Craydon Court, Portlaoise, Laois
Bracken (nee Lewis) Craydon Court and late of Borris Rd, Portlaoise, Dec. 15th 2018, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Carmel, beloved wife of the late Tommy and dearly loved mam to Marti and Tommy. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Ted, sisters-in-law, Rose, Patricia, Rita and Bibi, daughter-in-law Mari, cherished grandchildren Mark and Eve, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her residence from 5 pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Monday morning to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, to arrive for 11.30 Requiem Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Edmund Handcock
formerly of Middlemount House, Rathdowney, Laois
Edmund Handcock died at St. Andrew’s Hospice, Grimsby, UK. Sadly missed by his sons John and Brian, brothers John, Bertie and Reggie daughter-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends. Cremation Service to take place on December 28th in Grimsby.
Teresa (Tess) Conroy
Rathleague, Portlaoise, Laois
Teresa C. Conroy (Tess) nee O`Brien, Galway. Formerly Tullamore and Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Jay and daughter Terri. Peacefully at home in the loving care of her family. Deeply regretted by her Son Martin, Daughters , Jacinta (Mahony USA) , Elaine (Gillmore Galway) and Cepta (Halpin Wicklow). Sons in law Luke, Gerard, and Peter. Brother Gerald and sister in law Maureen. Grandchildren, Nieces, nephews. Relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her daughter Elaine’s residence at Killooney , Dunmore Co. Galway from 4 pm till 8pm on this Sunday Decemeber 16th . Removal on Monday to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church Portlaoise for 1 pm Requiem mass. Interment will take place afterwards in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery Portlaoise

John Doheny, Birmingham, England, and late of Fr. O’Connor Crescent, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 9th December 2018 ( unexpectedly). Deeply regretted by his parents Jackie and Margaret, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Giltrap (nèe O’Gorman), The Square, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. December 14th 2018. Peacefully at her residence in the presence of her family, Deirdre; sadly mourned by her son Jonathan and her daughter Zoe (MacCourt), daughters in law Dee and Ruth, son in law Gervase, her beloved grandchildren Breffni, Alannah, Nia, Anton, Ella, Jude and Thady, her great-grandchildren Alfie and Sophie, her sisters Regina and Barbara, her brother Kevin, brothers-in-law Jack and Michael, sister-in-law Eileen and her loyal friend Mick Jenner. Also remembering her son Anton (R.I.P) and all deceased members of her family.
Reposing at her residence on Saturday with funeral prayers at 6:15pm followed by removal to The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11am followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.

Suddenly at home. Maureen beloved daughter of the late Paddy and Sheila. Cherished sister to Kevin, Jimmy, Martin, and Niall. And loving aunt to Carmen, Kate, Liam, Kevin, and Josh. Deeply regretted by her loving family, friend Margaret. Cousins relative and friends.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral home Portlaoise on Wed from 6.30 with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on thusday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls church for 10 am requiem mass. Funeral will follow afterwards.
