Gardaí in Laois-Offaly are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body this morning on Thursday, December 13.
The body was found on a farmland in Edenderry, Offaly, shortly after 9am.
A technical inspection is due to take place by Gardaí.
The Coroner has been informed and investigations are ongoing.
