Died December 5th 2018 in the loving care of The Staff of Kilminchy Lodge, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his neices and nephews Geraldine, Catherine, Breda, James, Robert and John, grandneices and nephews, sister-in-law Eileen, cousins, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Thursday from 7pm. Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Friday from 4pm untill Removal at 5.50pm to St. Joseph’s Church arriving at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am Burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Peacefully, at Naas General Hospital after a long illness. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Mary and Kathleen, brother Liam, brother-in-law Frank, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
William (Bill) Kirwan
Main Street, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois
Kirwan, Main Street, Borris-In-Ossory, Co. Laois. December 4th 2018, peacefully in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of Villa Marie Nursing Home, Roscrea. William (Bill, Gaffer) in his 93rd year, predeceased by his wife Peg.
Sadly mourned by his family, Michael, Lawrence, Mark, Martin, Carmel, Maria and William (Jnr), daughters-in-law, Julie, Mary, Angela and Caroline, sons-in-law Willie and Des and his beloved 22 grandchildren and his great-grandson Darragh, his brother John (Donaghmore), his sisters Kathleen (Ryan), Carmel (Power), Norrie (McCaul), nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Also remembering at this time his daughter-in-law Margaret (R.I.P), his brother V. Rev. Canon Mark (R.I.P) and his sisters Sr. Vera (R.I.P) and Sr. Nell (R.I.P).
Reposing at his son Williams residence (Killadooley, Ballybrophy, R32 RC Y2) on Wednesday evening from 4pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday in St. Canice’s Church, Borris-in-Ossory at 11am followed by burial in Derrinsallagh Cemetery, Borris-in-Ossory.
Thomas (Tom) Whelan
Raheny, Dublin / Rathdowney, Laois
Whelan, Thomas (Tom) (Raheny Park and formerly of Donaghmore, Rathdowney, Co. Laois) – December 3rd, 2018 in his 95th year, (late of Singer Sewing Centre, Talbot St.) beloved husband of the late Annie. Sadly missed by his loving children Michael, Catherine, John, Olivia and Mark, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, his adored 11 grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at his home tomorrow Tuesday and Wednesday (4th & 5th December) from 5pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (6th. December) at 11.30am in Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny Village. Funeral thereafter to Fingal Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

Died peacefully at home on Saturday, December 1st, in the loving care of his wife and family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Dolores, son Barry, daughter Gráinne, granddaughter Grace, Barry’s partner Caroline, brothers Hughie and Ciarán, sisters Sr Mairead LSA, Kathleen, Irene and Brig, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. Reposing on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Monday in St Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin. Burial afterwards in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin.

Deeply regretted by her husband Peter, daughters Margaret, Nuala and Carmel, sons Donal and Peter, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath, on Sunday evening from 6 o’clock, with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in Clonenagh Cemetery.

Conroy (nee Bergin) Ridge Road, Portlaoise. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Mary, beloved wife of the late Christy. Cherished mother to Ciarán (Connie), Kevin, Mag and the late Deirdre. Loving grandmother to Patrick, Ciara, Christopher, Eoin and Kate. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters-in-law, Noreen and Trish, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her residence from 5pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday morning to SS Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 12 noon Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery. House private on Monday morning, please.
