On December 1, 2018, Portlaoise Mosque is opening doors to all.
The Portlaoise Mosque is inviting neighbours and for the wider community to come and see the culture of Muslims and their faith.
This open day includes Mosque tour, Henna, face painting, traditional food, artifacts, Arabic calligraphy and an Islamic Exhibition from Discover Islam.
The aim of the day is to build bridges and promote better understanding between those of all faiths and none.
Portlaoise’s Mosque is based in Ashley House on the Dublin Road in the town.
Admission is free and the day kicks off at 12pm until 5pm.
