We bring you some absolutely brilliant news tonight!
A jeep with a trailor containing 60 lambs attached to it that was stolen in Graiguecullen this evening has been located.
The vehicle was taken around 4pm this afternoon.
The owner had gone in to a petrol station across the road from Aldi in Graiguecullen to pay for diesel but when he returned, the jeep had been stolen.
However, after a Facebook appeal and an article on our site which gained hundreds of shares, the good news has just reached us that the jeep has been recovered.
It was found in Castlecomer in Kilkenny a short time ago.
However, the 60 lambs and Jess the sheep dog are still missing and are presumed to have been dumped somewhere between Carlow and Castlecomer.
Peter Kealy took to his Facebook page this evening to ask people to help locate it.
The St Joseph’s and Laois U-20 footballer thanked everyone for their help with the search.
He said: “I’d just like to thank everyone who shared the story and got the word out there.
“We are so grateful for all the help and we are absolutely delighted to have recovered the lambs and the jeep.”
