In September 2012 Imelda Tynan and her team opened their doors to Tynan’s Restaurant at the Storeyard in Portlaoise.
Six years later and it’s as busy as ever as they celebrated their 6th birthday earlier this month.
The hidden gem cafe located in Kealew Business park is known for it’s fresh produce and warm atmosphere.
The kind-hearted and good-humoured staff also make Tynan’s a real experience.
This year has been another successful one for Imelda and her team as their rhubarb tart received a big award.
John and Sally McKenna’s Guides named Imelda’s dish as Pudding of the Year.
Our photographer Julie Anne Miller went along to cut the cake and celebrate the milestone with Imelda and co.
Congratulations to all!
