Huge queues lined Main Street Portlaoise as the first batch of Electric Picnic tickets for 2019 went on sale today.
Colgan Sports on Main Street Portlaoise and Colgan Sports in Tullamore released the first of the coveted tickets at 9am and we were there to get a glance of the crowds waiting excitedly for their passes into Ireland’s largest music and arts festival.
As we type, the queues are now gone up to Brown’s Fruit and Veg as people wait in line for the loyalty tickets.
Both stores released family camping tickets and weekend tickets for sale, but Sunday tickets will not go on sale yet.
Limits and discounts
There is a limit of two tickets per person and anyone wishing to pay in installments can only do so online and not in store.
If you have purchased three or more previous Electric Picnic tickets you are eligible to get your Weekend Camping Tickets for €165.
To be eligible for a discount, you will need to prove you’ve been before and in return you’ll get the discount code.
