Siun Lennon has been appointed as a full-time Digital Media Journalist with LaoisToday.ie.
From Rosenallis, and daughter of Mick and Anna Lennon, Siun is a past pupil of Derrylamogue NS and Mountrath CS and recently graduated from the University of Limerick with a BA in Journalism and Law.
Siun has been with LaoisToday in a part-time capacity since July of last year but has recently come on board in a full-time role.
“Siun has been very involved with LaoisToday since almost the start,” said Steven Miller, owner and managing editor of LaoisToday.
“She has made a huge contribution in that time and we’re delighted to have her on board full time now.
“She has a wide range of interests and has covered everything from sport to politics and everything in between. In recent times she has been very central to the introduction of a new weekly podcast.”
Also joining the team recently was Sarah Cullen from Portlaoise who is a 3rd year Journalism student in the University of Limerick.
Sarah is on college placement with us for the remainder of the year and has already made a big impact with a couple of big stories that attracted quite a lot of interest.
