Camross Comhaltas are through to the All Ireland Final with an amazing 27 members representing the branch.
The event is taking place in Drogheda this Saturday, with many members already there in preparation.
The branch are no strangers to the All Ireland’s, and have been represented very well in the competition in the past.
This year they have a variety of performers, with one over 18 performer Caoimhe Lowry performing senior whistle.
The youngest performers are two under 12s, Caoimhe Cuddy playing the tin whistle and Laura Scott singing.
Laura is also a part of a trio of singers with her siblings, and they are all a part of the Ceili band.
Catherine Lawlor, the teacher of the branch said they are working so hard ahead of the competition.
She said: “We are so proud of the branch. We are proud to be representing our branch, Laois and Leinster and if we get 4 medals or 27 it is a huge honor.
“We are full steam ahead for Saturday and we have a big crowd coming from Camross to support!”
“We wish everyone the very best of luck and know they will do their best.”
