Relief and happiness were the emotions on show in Colaiste Iosagain Portarlington this morning.
180 boys and girls sat the Leaving Cert in June and they were all there to collect their results.
And the school had a number of high achievers with seven students getting over the 500 points mark.
Deputy principal Justin Browne told LaoisToday how he was particularly pleased to see good marks across the board.
He said: “It varies from year to year but Construction Studies results were very good and so too was Accounting.
“History was also very good so we are very happy with those three. In fact, across the board we are very happy with all the results.
“We had 14 people sit the Leaving Cert Applied and they did very well too.
“We offer LCVP too so we give students the opportunity to do all three of the Leaving Cert programmes.”
