The championship games are coming thick and fast these days and we’re back in O’Moore Park this evening for the first double header of the weekend.
On Thursday evening, Crettyard Gaels did just enough to see off Ballyfin Gaels while last night, Portlaoise had 10 points to spare over Graiguecullen.
This evening Ballylinan and Killeshin get proceedings underway at 6pm while O’Dempsey’s and Arles-Killeen meet at 7.30pm.
Ballylinan and Killeshin met at the quarter-final stage last year when Ballylinan recorded a narrow win en route to their first county final appearance in 30 years – there shouldn’t be much in it again this evening.
Ballylinan got the better of Crettyard in their opening round while Killeshin proved too strong for Clonaslee Gaels.
The second game sees both teams in the Last Chance Saloon, with Arles-Killeen coming off the back of a disappointing defeat to Emo while league champions O’Dempsey’s were shocked by Graiguecullen.
We’ll be Live Blogging both of this evening’s games as well as bringing updates from the IFC Round 2 losers game between St Joseph’s and Portlaoise in Ratheniska.
