Timahoe GAA are hosting a Race Night on Saturday, August 11.
The event, which is sponsored by the Tower Inn, also takes place there.

Off to a good start
In footballing news, Timahoe are certainly making a better start to the intermediate championship than they did last year.
Liam Ramsbottom’s men held onto a one point victory over newly-promoted St Joseph’s and are now out against Courtwood in the next round of the championship on Thursday, August 9.
A win for Timahoe will ensure that they make it through to the semi-finals.
This comes after a mixed league campaign, with five wins, four losses and one draw. While that form suggests they are dropping back, it have been missing a lot of key players such as Damien O’Connor and Brendan Quigley.
