Carroll (nee Kearney) St Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise, July 17th 2018. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of Ballard Lodge Nursing Home. Frances, beloved wife of the late Tom. Dearly loved mother to Maria, Dermot, Fiona, Aidan, Fergal and Christine. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother in law, sisters in law, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6pm with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place at 10am on Thursday morning in SS Peter and Paul’s Church. Interment wlll follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
Margaret (Maggie) Comerford (née Buggy)
Timogue, Stradbally, Laois
Peacefully on 17th July 2018 in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally surrounded by her loving and devoted family, predeceased by her beloved husband Jack. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, daughters Mary (Greene) Theresa (Shorthall) and Martina, sons, Michael, John, and Pat, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Margaret will repose at her daughters residence, Theresa and Andy Shorthall. Aughamaddock, Stradbally from 4’oc this Wednesday 18th July, with recital of the Rosary at 8’oc. Removal on Thursday morning at approx, 10.20. oc (Via Timogue) to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally for 11’oc. Funeral Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.
John (JOC) O’Connor
O’Connor (Finglas, Hartstown and Portlaoise)
John (JOC) dear father of Patrick, Niamh and Roísin, son of Bridget and the late Larry O’Connor. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his children, mother, partner Anna, Martina, sisters Laura, Carol, Bernadette and Gemma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in the children’s home in Hartstown on Wednesday (18th July) evening from 4pm until 8pm. Removal Thursday morning (19th July) to the Church of St Ciarán, Hartstown Road, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donation in lieu, if desired to Dog’s Aid, Ballymun c/o Maggie.
John William (Jack) Humphreys
Emmett Street, Mountmellick, Laois
Humphreys, Emmett Street, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. John William (Jack) called home on July 13th 2018 in the loving care of the staff of Oak Dale Nursing Home, Portarlington. Very sadly missed by his devoted wife Frances, daughter Sandra, son in law George, grandchildren Austin, Graham and Lorna, brother Wilfred and family in California, neices, nephews and friends. Funeral Service at 12 noon on Monday, July 16th, at St. Paul’s Church, Mountmellick and interment afterwards.
William Keane
Corrigeen, Stradbally, Laois
Keane, Corrigeen, Stradbally, Co. Laois July 14th 2018. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. William (Willie), in his 85th year. Deeply regretted by his loving family, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and many friends. Reposing at his residence from 4 pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Monday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, the Heath for 11 am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only donations if desired to the Laois Hospice.
Robert Samblin
Clarney Hall, Rathdowney, Laois / Dublin 8, Dublin
Samblin, South Circular Road, Dublin, Ballyfermot and Rathdowney, Co. Laois. July 11th 2018. Unexpectedly, Robert, beloved son of Tanya and Anthony and brother of Bryan, James, Lauren and Aoife, sadly mourned by his family, his grandmothers Ellen and Eithne, his aunts and uncles, his nephew Sean, his beloved Audinga, relatives and his many friends. Reposing at his parents’ home (Clarney Hall, Rathdowney, Co. Laois) on Sunday evening from 5pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney at 11am followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin arriving at 2pm.
