Two Rosenallis brothers are after taking the national airwaves by storm after appearing on RTÉ Radio One – not once, but twice in two weeks.
Micheal and Pauric Clear are now regular post-match pundits after being interviewed by RTÉ’s Brenda Donohue after Laois’s appearance in the Leinster semi-final and Leinster final.
The Skerry men were asked their opinions on everything – from Laois’s tactics to John Surgue’s management.
In their latest post-match interview, Micheal said, “It takes two teams to make a final,’ which got a large round of a applause from the crowd.
“They did very well the get to the Leinster final you know, and we’re delighted to be up here in the sunshine you know,” added Pauric.
Celeb status
The brothers are no strangers to fame – having won the coveted Rosenallis Lip Sync Battle with their outstanding performance of ‘Everybody needs somebody’ last year.
The men are also on the lookout for their somebody – and gave Brenda the lowdown on what they’re looking for in a potential spouse.
“We’ve two Laois bachelors here, looking for two Dublin women,” said Brenda.
“I’m just looking for an attractive young woman, I’m not hard pleased like,” said Micheal.
Whatever young women they snap up can also enjoy being serenaded by Lovely Laois, like this performance in Lloyd’s Bar in Dublin.
