The M7 motorway is closed this morning following a crash.
The road, which connects Dublin/Cork/Limerick via Laois, has been closed southbound at the Junction 16 Portlaoise following a crash.
The AA have tweeted in the last couple of minutes to confirm the incident.
The road was closed on Thursday morning and is still closed at 10.30am.
The crash has taken place near Junction 16 East at The Heath.
It is not known as yet how many vehicles are involved or if any injuries have occurred.
