It’s the local town for many Laois people and this Thursday Red Balloons will line the main thoroughfare of Athy to celebrate Athy Traders Red Balloon event.
In an effort to get people to come in and visit the fantastic shops and services available in Athy, traders have come together to organise this brilliant event.
With over 30 businesses signed up to take part in this, many opening late until 9pm to allow those who work the opportunity to be a part of the action, it promises to be a great occasion for all.
There will be many other competitions and special offers by participating businesses, make sure to call to as many as possible to see what is on offer or visit their Facebook/Instagram pages for more information.
There is no doubt but that Athy is home to many excellent locally owned businesses providing people with top quality products and services, and this event gives people a great opportunity to realise this.
Keep an eye out for participating shops who have red balloons outside their store this Thursday, April 12, from 9.30am-9pm(selected stores) and drop in to see all that is on offer to get you ready for the New Spring season.
