Danny O’Reilly in action for Laois recently against Carlow

Daniel O’Reilly

The news schedule this week was dominated by distressing events that happened on Easter Monday in Carlow.

We broke the story late on Monday afternoon that a Laois man had been attacked in Carlow and the events continued to spiral from there.

Graiguecullen later released a statement confirming that their player Daniel O’Reilly was the victim.

The Gardai moved swiftly though and two people were arrested by Wednesdaycharged and then appeared before court where they were granted bail.

And the story ended for now on a positive note as the O’Reilly family confirmed that Danny was doing well.
