There were some pretty big celebrities celebrating in Laois over the weekend.
Former Irish captain Brian O’Driscoll and his wife Amy Huberman were in Mountrath to celebrate a birthday.
Brian’s mother Ger turned 70 and the couple, plus members of their family, took her to Mountrath to party.
They went to Roundwood House in the Laois town to celebrate and Brian was thrilled with how they got on.
Posting on Instagram last night, he paid tribute to the ‘class’ food they had.
He said: “Deadly weekend had with family renting a cool house in Laois to celebrate this hero’s 70th.
“Looking pretty good for SEVEN 0!
“Also Roundwood House on Friday night for food was class.
“What a little hidden gem that place is.”
Roundwood House is run by Paddy and Hannah Flynn.
