The parish of Stradbally has three parades and after the success of Timahoe and Vicarstown this morning, the Little Town didn’t disappoint.
Patrons lined either side of the street as the parade, led by St Patrick himself, came down the town.
Starting on the Rathmore Road, the kids from St Colman’s National School led the way with renditions of traditional songs.
The procession saw representations from Stradbally GAA, Stradbally Town AFC and many other groups.
The Buggie School of Dancing had a float with their younger kids smiling and waving.
While their older members entertained the crowds as they danced down the town.
Liz Molloy and Austin Watt Clancy also had their own extra large photo frame and they captured some brilliant photos, some of which are below.
The parade ended as everyone headed for the church for St Patrick’s Day mass before venturing up the town to St Patrick’s Hall for tea and refreshments.
