There was a very political presence at the St Patrick’s Day parade in Abbeyleix this afternoon.
Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un were there and they were arguing over who’s rocket was the biggest!
While Abbeyleix golf club were calling for Russian leader Vladimir Putin to appear.
The stiff easterly breeze blew directly down the town in Abbeyleix but it didn’t deter the locals who lined up either side of the street.
Athletics, GAA, hockey and soccer groups were represented in the parade.
A bag piper led the way followed by a group who were dressed in gear from the time of the rebellions.
