Gardai are on the scene of an accident this afternoon.
AA Roadwatch are reporting that a crash has occurred on the N80.
This is said to be 2km outside of Stradbally.
They are advising caution on approach and the location is said to be on the Carlow side of the town.
It is not known at this stage if anyone has been injured.
This incident has occurred just two days after a three-car collision on the old main road at Jamestown between Ballybrittas and Portlaoise.
The accident occurred near the Delaney’s Roadhouse restaurant.
