The death has occured of Linda Conroy (nee Lanham), Ballyroan and formerly Marian Avenue, Portlaoise. Linda passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Gerry, sons Keith, Garry and Scott daughters Emma-jane and Karen. Deeply regretted by her mother Maura, mother-in-law Pauline, sisters Teresa and Gillian, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Reposing at her daughter’s residence 17. Cross of Newtown, Ballyroan from 2pm on Tuesday 6th March rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday (morning) 7th March at 9am for Requiem Mass at 10am in St. Peter & Paul’s Parish Church, Portlaoise. Burial afterwards in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.
Margaret (Peggy) Mills (née Fox)
Thornberry, Abbeyleix, Laois
Peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of St. Brigid’s Hospital, Shane. Predeceased by her husband Joe. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Seamus and Joseph, daughters Maria, Roseanne, Assumpta, Carol and Ciara, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchildren, great-grandnson Danny, brothers, sisters, extended family relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Adoration Chapel adjoining the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix from 5pm.on Tuesday with removal to the Church of The Most Holy Rosary, for 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwads in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Coonan (nee Dixon), Chantiere Gate, Portlaoise. March 3rd 2018. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Karen, dearly loved wife to Owen and adoring mother to Matthew. Deeply regretted by her loving family, her parents Anne and Brendan and brother Alan, mother in law Philomena, sister in law Trisha, brothers in law, Brian, Barry, and Dermot, beautiful nieces and nephews Cassie, Maeanna, Theo, Laurence and Aonghus, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home from 6pm on Monday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church for 10am requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Doris passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Dan. Sadly missed by her heartbroken children, son Willie and daughter Trish. Deeply regretted by her mother Phil, father Patrick, brothers John, Colm, Declan and Eamonn. Sadly missed by her daughter in law Karen, grandchildren Ellie -Ann and Heidi, sisters in law, brother in law, uncle, aunts and nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at her residence from Sunday evening at 6.30pm with Rosary at 8 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning at 11.30 to arrive to Saint Michael’s Church, Timahoe for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Timahoe. House private Monday morning please.

Reposing at his residence from 3.00pm on Monday with Rosary at 9.00pm. Removal to St Canice’s Church, Clough on Tuesday morning for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in Clough Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning please. Family flowers only. donations if desired to St Vincent de Paul.
