Laois PPN Funding and Resources Event – Portlaoise
Laois Public Participation Network have cancelled their Funding and Resources Event due to take place this evening (Tuesday) in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise.
Laois PPN apologise for any inconvenience caused. The event will be held again in late March.
Laois GAA Code of Behaviour Course – Portlaoise
Due to inclement weather which is forecasted the Laois GAA Code of Behaviou Course, which was scheduled for Wednesday evening course, is postponed.
Basketball – Tallaght Stadium
The Basketball Ireland All Ireland Schools League finals, which were scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday have officially been postponed this morning.
Two Laois schools, Heywood and Scoil Chriost Ri, were set to take part in the finals this week in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght.
Flash Harry – The Music of Queen – Kavanagh’s Portlaoise
Flash Harry – The Music of Queen was due to go ahead on Friday night, March 2 in Kavanagh’s Bar in Portlaoise but will now take place on Friday, April 13 instead.
Swimming lessons – Portarlington Leisure Centre
Portarlington Leisure Centre has cancelled all scheduled swimming lessons and fitness classes for this coming Thursday (March 1) and the early morning on Friday (March 2).
Portlaoise Lions Club Chairty book sale – Portlaoise
The Portlaiose Lions Club annual charity book sale in the Laois Shopping Centre on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 of March 2018, from 10am to 5pm each day has been deferred until a later date. No new date has been announced.
Cattle Mart – Mountrath
The sale due to take place at the Cattle Mart in Mountrath is cancelled tomorrow (Wednesday), and Thursday.
