The Park-Ratheniska Ladies footballers are holding their dinner dance in the Midlands Park Hotel.
Mountmellick Macra Panto
The Mountmellick Macra Panto is back with their performance of ‘Aladdin’ nightly until Sunday night. The nightly shows are at 8.15pm, with a matinee on Sunday at 3pm and earlier show on Sunday night at 7pm.

Laois Ladies footballers are playing Clare in Stradbally at 2pm.
Laois v Wicklow
To top off the busy weekend of sporting action, Laois will go down to Joule Park in Aughrim to play Wicklow at 2pm.
CD Launch in Portlaoise
The Rising Sons are launching a CD in Peig’s Bar. All proceeds from the CD will go to Laois Dyslexia Support Group and PATH Portlaoise. Copies can also be bought in Anthem Music, Portlaoise.
