The Garda helicopter is out this morning following a robbery in the early hours of the morning.
Gardai say that at 12.30am this morning, a group of 3-4 men robbed a petrol station in Tullamore.
They burgled Topaz at Fingerboard, Tullamore by forcing entry through the back door.
One of the men has been arrested and the vehicle suspected to have been used in the robbery has been seized.
The man is a foreign national who is 27-years-old.
The remaining suspects are still at large and are believed to be somewhere in the Tullamore area.
The Garda helicopter and specialist units have been deployed to catch them.
Searches are currently taking place at Ballard, Charleville Road and the N52 bypass.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to contact Gardai immediately.
