Mountrath library are holding “An introduction to yoga for kids” with instructor Oonagh Hoey at 10am. The class is suitable for ages 9-12.

Laois hurlers are taking on Antrim in round 3 of the Division 1B league in O’Moore Park at 7pm.
BallyroanAbbey Dinner Dance
BallyroanAbbey are holding their dinner dance celebrating a number of past teams in the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow, at 7.30pm.
Borris-in-Ossory Coursing club
The annual Borris-in-Ossory and Rushall Coursing club draw takes place in the Green Roads at 10pm. The top prize on the night is €500.
Stradbally Country Market resumes
Stradbally Country Market resumes in St Patrick’s, Hall, Stradbally, from 10am to 1pm.
Irish Guide Dogs National Conference
The Irish Guide Dogs National Volunteer Conference takes place the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise.
Registration at 10.30am, close at 4.30pm, dinner at 5.30pm.
