A large crowd braved the cold weather on Sunday afternoon for the Colt GAA family walk.
Club members, officials and friends took part in the walk which started in the club grounds and took in the Raheen countryside on the 5km walk.
People of all ages including pets turned out for the family friendly event.
While Laois escaped the worst of the weather that hit Ireland on Sunday, it was still bitterly cold for those who showed up.
All money raised from the walk is going towards the development of facilities in the club.
And there was a wonderful spread of refreshments afterwards in the clubhouse.
Colt were beaten in last year’s SHC ‘A’ Final but will resume the new 2018 season in the coming weeks.
