A desire to take on larger projects both on a local level and elsewhere, as well as an increased demand for carpentry contractors, was the main reason behind a Portlaoise-based carpentry and joinery company setting up in 2017.
AD Contracting Ltd has gone from strength to strength since being set up by co-owners Adrian Dunne and Allan Daly in February of last year, now directly and indirectly employing up to ten local carpenters.
“We set up in 2017 due to increased demand for reliable carpentry and joinery companies that can deliver projects to a high standard on a tight timescale, both locally and elsewhere,” explained Allan Daly, one of the co-owners who have over 18 years experience in this sector.
Projects taken on by AD Contracting includ home renovations; attic conversions; roofing, commercial/office renovation/fit out and project management.
As the photos below show, the quality of their work is second to none.
The quality of the finish is clearly evident with recent projects including work on the highly acclaimed renovation of the iconic Bewleys cafe on Dublin’s Grafton Street.
They also completed work on the Dylan Hotel in Dublin while locally, they have also completed a number of roofing projects around Laois.
Most recent projects include one-off roofing of homes in Laois and the carpentry and joinery contract in the iconic Bewley’s on Grafton Street in Dublin.
