Mountmellick and formerly Cushina Portarlington died Feb 9th peacefully. Deeply regretted by her husband Andy, daughter Edith, son Ken and grandson Billy, brothers sisters, uncle Johnny Dillon Cushina Portarligton,relatives neighbours and her many friends. Reposing in her home on Sunday & Monday from 2pm. Recital of the rosary on both evenings at 9pm. Funeral arriving to St Joseph’s Church Mountmellick on Tuesday from 12 noon requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery. Family time in their home on Tuesday morning please.

Formerly of Clongarrett, Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly. Peacefully, in her home. Sister to Hilda, Irene, Albert, Billy, Susan and Yvonne, predeceased by her father William, mother Pearl and brother Trevor. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers in law Trevor, Jim, Robin & partner Eric, sisters in law Florence and Joan, nieces and nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Died peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Ballard Nursing Home Portlaoise. Pre deceased by her husband Bob. Deeply regretted by her sister Doris (Peg) U.K, brother Sammy, nieces, Oonagh and Moira, nephew Denis, relatives, friends and her very kind neighbours. Ethel will repose in her home on Monday from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Died suddenly but peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaois. Beloved husband of Helena (née Carroll) and father of Gary, Andrew and Claire. Sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters and his extended family and friends.
Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Sunday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 7pm. Prayers in The Funeral Home at 11am on Monday morning. Removal at 11.30am to St Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Irish Heart Foundation.

Late of Aughaterry Ballickmoyler Co laois. Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Stella Hovenden Ballylinan Athy, brother Andy Murray Artane Dublin, sister-in-law Phil ,nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Saturday from 3pm with removal at 5:10pm arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:15 pm. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery Emo.

Pauline Brophy (née Drennan) Skerry, Rosenallis, Co. Laois and formerly of Portlaoise. Died February 6th at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Deeply regretted by her husband Paul and sons Joseph, Peter and David, grandchildren Emma and John, Peter’s partner Yvonne, mother-in-law Elizabeth, her sisters Lillian Egan, Mary Therese Burke, Rena Hilditch, Antoinette Foley Jones, brothers Peter and James, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law Marian Fingleton, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Friday evening from 7pm, Recital of the Rosary at 9pm. Prayers in the Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10am. Removal at 10.30am to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis for Requiem Mass at 11am. Cremation Service at 2pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Mary Mollie Foley (née Dunphy) (Irishtown, Dublin and late of Durrow, Co Laois) 8th February 2018 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Mount Tabor Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Dinnie. She will be sadly missed by Paul, Christopher, Eileen, Margaret and Betty, brothers Mick and John, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
