Mountmellick GAA celebrated the success of 2017 at the weekend as they hosted their Dinner Dance in the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise.
Mountmellick were celebrating winning the Junior C Hurling Championship, Division 3 Hurling League, the Junior B Hurling Championship and the Division 2 Football League,
They were also celebrating the 50th anniversary Tribute which was played from the Club to the members and families of the football and hurling teams of the 67/68 side who enjoyed unprecedented success for the Club.
Over 170 guests were in attendance to help mark the celebration, and LaoisToday were there to highlight the occasion.
Before the new club season kicks into gear, there are still some clubs out there who are getting around to the business of celebrating their success of 2017.
It is believed it was a thoroughly enjoyable night, and the Club are looking forward to getting back into training for the 2018 season.
