The Leaving Cert results arrived in the middle of August and all of the Laois schools recorded good results.
But the points achieved by those in Clonaslee were simply incredible.

The Principal of Clonaslee VS has said they are ‘delighted’ after it emerged that over 1 in 5 pupils in the school recieved over 500 points in their Leaving Cert results, which were released in August.
In total, 55 percent of students got over 400 points.
Principal Noreen Sweeney said: “We are delighted with the excellent results from all our students.
“They worked extremely hard as did our dedicated staff and it really shows in their incredible results. We wish them the very busy of luck in their chosen paths.”
LaoisToday visited Mountrath CS, Scoil Chríost Rí, St Mary’s CBS, Coláiste Íosagáin Portarlington and Mountmellick CS as students received their Leaving Cert results.
