Where do I even begin on this one …
This, indeed, was a big day for both Clough-Ballacolla and Camross. All of the LaoisToday team were out in force to give the best coverage of the day on all of our social media platforms.
O’Moore Park had its biggest crowd of the year for a club game and the Ballacolla and Camross supporters were out in full force.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect as I never had been to a hurling county final before to cover it photographically. But having visited both schools earlier that week I knew I was in for something special.
The atmosphere and excitement in O’Moore Park that day was electrifying.
And what an exciting game it was! I had no preference on who I’d rather see win. I was very fond of both clubs after receiving such warm welcomes from both during the week.
We made the most out of it as team. We were giving coverage on all of our social media channels and doing our best to highlight as much as we possibly could.
Camross claimed victory for the 25th time that Sunday afternoon. It was an incredible game and you had to feel for Ballacolla for their brave performance.
These photos are some of my favourite photos taken that day.
