Mountrath Community School’s Transition Year showcased their marvellous Christmas Fair.
Hampers, tie-dye t-shirts, Bandanas (appartenly they’re making a comeback), sweets and treats were among some of the products on sale today.
The school’s Twitter account also mentioned the importance of shopping local this Christmas.

LaoisToday began to promote the ‘Shop Local’ campaign this week and say why we should stick together and shop local this Christmas.
The Downtown Portlaoise also released a promotional video urging people to keep their business local this year.
Congratulations certainly deserve to be given to these young Laois students using their entreprenuerial skills.
