Christmas is a time for family but it can be hard to get them all together.
Almost every family in the county will have loved ones away from home at this special time but this evening we bring you the story of one that has been reunited.
The Phelans from Killeshin will be back together this Christmas after eldest son Ronan returned home.
Ronan, who is the son of former Laois minor football manager Laurence Phelan, has been away for almost two years now teaching.
He has been in Vietnam and has not been home since.
However, on Friday, dressed as Santy Claus, he returned to his home in Killeshin.
His mam Trish hadn’t a clue who was behind the beard and her reaction when she figures out who it is – is brilliant!
