Paddock NS did their bit to help the less fortunate this Christmas by donating six large boxes of non-perishable food items.
Breakfast items, tinned food, pastas and many more food items will now to distributed to those who need it the most this Christmas.
Mary Riordan, who is a neighbour of our school, will donate the boxes this weekend to Portlaoise Lions Club.
Mary works voluntarily with the Lions club in Portlaoise.
The club holds fundraising activities such as Christmas Food Appeal, Christmas Tree Sale and the International Peace Poster Competition which the pupils of Paddock N.S enter annually.
The parents and staff of Paddock N.S said that they are extremely proud of the pupils’ efforts for this worthy cause.
