Dunne. Coolnamona. Portlaoise, December 13th 2017. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of St. Vincent’s Hosp. Mountmellick. Matty, dearly loved brother to Ciss Sutherland (Clonaslee). Deeply regretted by his loving family, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal from St. Vincent’s Hosp on Thursday evening at 7.15pm to arrive at St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday followed by interment in Ballyfind Cemetery.

Patty O’Connell, Thomas Court, Mountrath, Co.Laois, – Died 12th December 2017, at Newbrook Nursing Home, Mullingar, Deeply regretted by her loving family Denise, Emer, Eadaoin, Deirdre, Ciara, John, Kevin and Eoghan, sister Cellie, niece Margaret, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on (Thursday) evening from 4pm with Removal at 6.30pm to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on (Friday) morning at 11am, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.

Lorcan Poole (Galway) and formely of Rosenallis and Mountmellick, Co.Laois. Died the 11th December, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses in the University Hospital Galway and also An Teaghlach Uilinn, Moycullen and also his care nurses. Predeceased by his brother Peter. Very sadly missed by his brothers John Joe, Maurice and Pat, sisters-in-law Anne, Betty and Maureen, his nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Moloneys funeral home, Mountmellick on Thursday from 4:30pm with rectical of the rosary at 7pm. Removal from Moloney’s funeral home to St. Brigids Church, Rosenallis, on Friday morning for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in St.Brigids Cemetery Rosenallis.

Jennifer Gill (nee Lanham) Bealady, Rathdowney and formerly Marian Avenue, Portlaise, Co.laois. Died suddenly on the 11th December 2017. Deeply regretted by by her loving sons Shane and Ross, daughter Lauren, partner Declan Brophy, mother Maura, grandchildren, sisters, daughter in law, son in law, brothers in law, aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her mother’s residence, Marian Avenue, Portlaoise from 12 noon on Wednesday, with rosary recital at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise for 10am requiem Mass. Interment afterwards to Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.

Anthony Christopher Marnell, Clonterry, Mountmellick (formerly of Dublin) Died 10th December unexpectedly. Predeceased by his loving son David. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Deirdre, son Tony, daughters Michelle and Audrey, daughter-in-law Bernadette, sons-in-law Trevor and Willie, sister Ann Canning, brother-in-law Ray, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick, on Wednesday from 4.30pm, removal at 5.50pm to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick, arriving at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Cremation after in Newlands Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, Donations if desired to the Irish Lung Foundation.
