We’re walking in a winter wonderland!
It’s all gone very white out there as every corner of the county has been covered in the fluffy stuff.
The rain was pounding off the windows last night when we all headed to bed but that quickly changed to snow as the temperatures dropped dramatically overnight.
And we put the shout out to you our readers to provide us with eyes all over the county and you didn’t disappoint.
We got messages from Killeshin to Rathdowney with pictures displaying the fluffy delights.
With most people off work because it is Sunday, it was just as well because much of the county is at a standstill.
At one stage, the motorway was down to one lane near Portlaoise for example.
